Silence and bleeding
Your hero can survive a pause, but a long silence eventually becomes dangerous. Lock your Mac when you step away.

Grace before danger
Every hero has a base silence grace. Each full realm stage leaves a smaller share of that grace: 25%, 18.75%, 12.5%, 6.25%, then 3.125%. The prologue uses the first stage. Hero pages show the resulting times before modifiers.
For example, the Knight's ten-minute base becomes 150 seconds in stage one. An eight-minute base becomes 120 seconds. Equipment grace is added to the base before the stage multiplier, so an item promising extra minutes does not add those minutes unchanged at every depth.
Realm rules, Venomous enemies, and the Modal Monk's stance can change the result. Rising Heat reduces the grace window; read the realm and boss skill descriptions before choosing a harder encounter.
When bleeding begins
After grace expires, silence drains HP over time. The stage table below gives the reference rate before class, realm, skill, and equipment modifiers. Knight and Evoker class bleeding durations modify that rate; it is not identical for every hero. Creeping Rot, Frenzied, and Relentless can make the danger worse, while bleeding resistance reduces it.
Recovering your rhythm
Once bleeding starts, maintain ten seconds of continuous typing, keeping gaps no longer than two seconds, to stop it. An isolated stroke can heal you but does not clear the ongoing pressure. Pausing too long interrupts the recovery rhythm.
What pauses the clock
- The Mac is locked.
- Its screens are asleep.
- Another user's session is active.
- The raid is waiting for your reward or next-choice decision.
Merely changing to another app is normal play. Silence can hurt at any hour, including outside working hours. Do not rely on the clock reaching evening to protect the run.
Preparing for a break
Before a short pause, check current health and the silence indicator. Grace, resistance, maximum HP, and recovery gear help in different ways. For a longer break, lock the Mac. For a safer next fight, compare the opponent's skills instead of choosing by rewards alone.
Base bleeding by stage

|---|---|
| 1 | 0.45 |
| 2 | 0.55 |
| 3 | 0.65 |
| 4 | 0.75 |
| 5 | 0.85 |
